The Minister of Environment and Water Petar Dimitrov issued an order declaring a new protected area - the natural landmark "Cherveni Kamak", with an area of 44 decares, located in the land of the village of Chelopech, Sofia region.

The natural landmark "Cherveni Kamak" was declared on proposal by the Association of Parks in Bulgaria for the protection of a remarkable object of inanimate nature - rock formations of great aesthetic value.

Activities such as construction, changing the purpose and method of permanent use of the territory that falls within the natural landmark, climbing and other activities that may lead to damage or destruction of the rock formation are prohibited in the natural landmark.

The order is to be published in the "State Gazette".
