Today, another meeting was held by Minister Asen Lichev and his entire political cabinet with representatives of non-governmental organizations working in the field of environmental protection. Please, be reminded that the Minister imposed an open-door policy as soon as he took office.

The meeting was attended by representatives of NGOs involved in the causes of environmental and animal protection. The participants included representatives of the Four Paws Foundation, who asked specific questions on zoos in Bulgaria.

The non-governmental organizations were informed about order RD-561/28.05.2021 issued by Minister Lichev which revoked the order by former Minister Emil Dimitrov for deletion of two healthy century-old trees from the Register of protected natural sites.
