There is no pollution of sea waters after the oil spill in the Kerch Strait. This was shown by the results from the samples taken at the end of December by the Black Sea Region Basin Directorate - Varna and the Regional Laboratory - Varna at the Executive Environmental Agency.

No pollution was found in the water, including of oil and oil products. The Black Sea Region Basin Directorate (BSRBD) continues to monitor the state of sea waters.

The indicators of the sampling include oil products, heavy metals and pesticides, as well as dissolved oxygen, PH, salinity, and water temperature. The sampling was carried out in the Durankulak region - near the fishing port and camping "Kosmos", as well as in the Shabla and Kaliakra regions. According to the results, there is no pollution by any of the indicators studied.
