Today, 27.11.2023, the Ministry of Environment and Water of Bulgaria makes available to the public Environmental Impact Assessement Report, with Annexes (in Engish), Chapter 6.3 EIA in a cross-border context (in Bulgarian language) and Approriate Assessement Study (in english) for the Project "Neptun Deep", submitted by letter No DGEICPSC/108472/26.11.2023 of Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests of Romania.
Deadline for comments on the EIA report from all interested parties - 27.12.2023 inclusive. To be sent in writing to the Ministry of Environment and Water, 1000, Sofia, bul. "Kn. 22 Maria Luisa Str. and/or e-mail: edno_gishe@moew.government.bg.
Response from Ministry of Environment and Water of Republic Bulgaria with No 99-00-200 from 7th August 2023 - the Minister of Environment and Water informed the Ministry of Environment and Forests of the Republic of Romania that Bulgaria will participate in the transboundary EIA procedure for the Neptune Deep project for natural gas extraction on the territory of Romania, including proposals for inclusion in the EIA report for the project.
