21 Mar, 2025 | 16:54The Regional Inspectorate for Environment and Water - Burgas found gross violations by the concessionaire of the Butamyata beach near Sinemorets. It was established that soil and other fractions were brought on the beach and construction activities were carried out on the terrain, for which the Regional Inspectorate for Environment and Water - Burgas is taking administrative measures.
The experts have found that in the Western part of the beach, on the sand, an earth and stone mass with impurities of pieces of crushed asphalt was brought in and spread. In the Northeastern part, traces of the passage of equipment and excavation in the active beach area were found, and behind it, in the Northern part, the terrain was cleared of grass and shrub vegetation.
During the inspection, it was also found that an excavation was made in which a reinforced concrete belt was poured, and a water supply network of PVC pipes was built to the site. The sewage network is dug into the sand, and a sewage shaft (reservoir) was built in the immediate vicinity of the concrete belt. An extension of the asphalt road leading to the beach has also been built, forming a stabilized road from crushed stone. Heavy construction equipment is also positioned near the beach.
The activities carried out have not been coordinated with the Regional Inspectorate for Environment and Water - Burgas and are in violation of the current legislation. The violator will have to restore the terrain to its original state and pay a fine, as the law provides, between 1000 to 10000 BGN.
