Strategic Environmental Assessment Procedure for the Romanian Energy Strategy for 2019-2030 in view of 2050

Pursuant to Art. 35, p.1, “b” of the Regulation on the conditions and procedures for environmental assessment of plans and programmes and according to the Protocol on Strategic Environmental Assessment to the Convention on Environmental Impact Assessment in a Transboundary Context, the Ministry of Environment and Water

In connection with the current Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) procedure for the Romanian Energy Strategy for 2019-2030 in view of 2050, the Ministry of Environment of Romania has submitted to the Ministry of Environment and Water (MoEW) of the Republic of Bulgaria (by letter № 41842/GLG/07.08.2019) notification.

The documents of the SEA procedure - Romanian Energy Strategy for 2019-2030 in view of 2050, Environmental Report and Appropriate Assessment Report  were submitted via e-mail.

The MoEW shall prepare answer about his intention to participate or not in the SEA procedure by 15 September 2019.
